WEST MAIN STREET - A man said another man tried to hit him during an argument, but a witness intervened.
In a separate incident, one man claimed another hit him with a walking cane.
LANIER DRIVE - A woman said her boyfriend choked her and tried to suffocate her with a pillow. Another victim said the man shoved her before taking the first victim's phone and fleeing.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A man was arrested after shoplifting two bottles of lotion.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST - A man called police after his son's mother threatened to "have someone mess him up" that night.
NORTH COLLEGE STREET - A woman said her boyfriend punched her in the face and stomped her on the ground.

NATURE'S WAY - A woman said a former boyfriend sent her threatening text messages and came to where she was staying, where he attacked her new boyfriend.
FRANKLIN ROAD - A woman said her mother-in-law slapped her several times during an argument about a wedding in the family.
SAM BRANNEN LANE - A man reported the theft of a Sawzall, other tools and a storage cabinet.
