Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    SWAN LANE — A woman texted and called the aunt of a juvenile who had an altercation at school with the complainant’s son. Things became heated and the complainant called deputies, who spoke with the aunt (who lives next door to the complainant). The aunt said she felt the other woman was hostile and should be directing her anger and concerns to the other juvenile’s mother instead of her.
    MIDDLEGROUND ROAD — The mother of an adult male who suffered a brain injury said his doctor ordered he not drive or handle firearms. The man became angry when his mother would not let him have his legally purchased guns. Sheriff Noel Brown told the woman she must obtain a probate judge order to legally keep the man’s firearms, as he is of age.

Statesboro Police Department
    LESTER ROAD — Someone reported a truck was scratched, listing the incident as criminal trespass.
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — Someone reported a suspicious person.
    PITT MOORE ROAD — Someone reported damage to a vehicle’s tires, listed as criminal trespass.
    NORTH MULBERRY STREET — A man said an employee pushed him in his face during an argument.
    CHANDLER ROAD — A woman said in spite of a court order that he not contact her, she received a letter from her ex-husband.
    LANIER DRIVE — An officer responded to a drug complaint, and while several questioned admitted having been involved in drug use, no drugs were found.
    WEST JONES AVENUE — A woman said someone snatched her from a car and began hitting her. She was given information about seeking warrants.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued 10 traffic citations and five traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.
    NATURAL SCIENCE BUILDING — Someone filed a harassment complaint.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — Someone asked for a welfare check on a person.
    THE FORUM APARTMENTS — Officers conducted a welfare check on a person.
    SOUTHERN PINES APARTMENTS — Someone was judicially referred to university officials for marijuana possession. No one was arrested.
    Also, officers conducted a welfare check on a person.
    F LOT — Someone was found with marijuana. Reports did not detail what consequences the person faces.
