Germayell Antonio Fields, 30, South College Street — suspended license, defective headlights.
UNIVERSITY PLACE APARTMENTS — Police saw three men fleeing from an apartment that had a damaged window at around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday. One man was caught and arrested for burglary.
INSTITUTE STREET — A man told police that sometime between 5 and 6 a.m. Monday, two known suspects threatened him with guns and robbed him of his pants, a wallet containing debit cards and $250 cash, and a cellphone.
BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Kenneth Wayne Mendenhall, 45, Nevils-Groveland Road, Pembroke — parole violation.
Rodney Jermaine Miller Jr., 22, Chandler Road — loitering/prowling, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, first-degree burglary, public intoxication, carrying a concealed weapon.
Caleb Deon Watkins, 22, Landings Parkway — first-degree burglary.
LANIER DRIVE — Deputies responded to a dispute between two women around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. One woman was allowing the other to stay with her because her lights and water were cut off, and when she confronted the other woman about missing medication, an argument ensued. Two of the pills in question were found in the suspect’s purse. The suspected offender tried to strike the other woman with a golf club during the argument.
GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Joshua Matthew Wright, 18, Georgia Avenue — marijuana possession.
Megan Leigh Billey, 22, South Main Street — failure to yield, failure to maintain lane.
James Lewis Wallen, 21, Woodland Drive — DUI, too fast for conditions.
Officers and assisted three motorists Tuesday.
C LOT — A man was arrested around 10:15 a.m. Nov. 21 after he asked for police help in unlocking his car. Police found marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle.
KENNEDY HALL — Officers performed a welfare check on a man who was visibly depressed and under the influence around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. He admitted having drunk alcohol and was on medication for anxiety, ADHD and other issues. Officers persuaded him to speak to a university counselor, but when she arrived she refused to enter a briefing room at the University Police Department because the subject was under the influence. Officers explained he was under 21 and that his intoxication level did not matter in that case, but the counselor refused to speak with the young man. He was taken to the hospital, where medical staff said he suffered manic depression, and the doctor told officers she had never heard of a counselor not being able to help a person due to intoxication. She told police he would call the counselor after the man was treated and his blood-alcohol level was lowered.
