Police report - 1-11-15; No animals euthanized at animal shelter.

Arrests/Citations
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Wednesday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

    Emily Victoria Whitaker, 25, Westbrooke court — theft by shoplifting.
    Quentin Jont’e Jenkins, 25, Southern Villas — suspended license.
    Blake Ryan Gilbert, 19, Pitt-Moore Road — public intoxication.
 
INCIDENTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Wednesday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.
 
Statesboro Police Department
    STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT — Thursday around 6 p.m., Operation Medicine Drop collected 20 pounds, or about 20,000 pills that were dropped off for proper and safe destruction.
    HARDEN ROAD — Around 11:15 a.m. Thursday, a man saw an unknown male force his window open. The intruder fled when seen.
 
Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Dec. 29 to Jan. 4:
    Surrendered by citizens — three dogs and two cats from rural county;  one dog and one cat from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — five dogs from rural county areas; three dogs from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — three  dogs and a cat.
    Reclaimed by owners — one dog.
    Died at shelter — three dogs.
    Euthanized — no animals euthanized.
    Fees collected — $ 190.
