INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ LITTLE MAGNOLIA LANE — A man said he heard a gunshot and saw a man with a gun running from behind his home. The suspect got into a “newer model” Chevrolet pickup truck and left. Deputies found footprints but no shell casings, and neighbors said they saw the black truck in the area and heard what they thought had been fireworks.

▲ MAE WOODCOCK ROAD — Deputies met with complainants who said tenants damaged and stole things from a home they rented from her. Shelves were missing from a refrigerator that also had a “horrid odor,” and a washer and dryer were damaged beyond repair. Items stolen were a fire pit, utility sink and lumber. A lawn mower was disassembled and left behind. Window blinds, flooring and other items were damaged, and a buildup of lint behind the dryer posed a fire hazard, the complainant said.

▲ WEST JONES/GESMON NEVILLE LANE — Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity. No further details were reported.

▲ CHURCH STREET — A woman was severely injured when she was attacked by a dog and was airlifted to a Savannah hospital.

▲ BELK — A man was cited for shoplifting liquid oil face wash priced at $14, along with $82 worth of clothing.

▲ FINCH TRAILER PARK — Police located and returned a lost child.

▲ THOMAS GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH — A woman arrived at the church and saw a strange man in the kitchen. The man left when spotted.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.

▲ FOREST DRIVE — Someone reported a bicycle stolen.

▲ UNIVERSITY STORE — Officers investigated a theft.
