Please have a cup of coffee with me

For the past two months, I've enjoyed the company of dozens of area residents who took me up on my offer to join me for a cup of coffee and discuss ideas about possible uses of the property across the street from the Statesboro Herald.
Commonly known as the Maxway center, the Herald's parent company and CEO Charles Morris purchased that land and property directly behind it totaling approximately two acres.
In the not-too-distant future, we want to create a space that will benefit and be of use to the Statesboro and Bulloch County community.
I've heard and recorded many excellent ideas suggested by folks who stopped by the past six weeks.
So, again, I invite you to the Statesboro Herald office on just Tuesdays now between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. to meet with me and and perhaps other members of our staff.
We'll offer you a cup of coffee or bottle of water and listen to your thoughts and ideas about possible uses of the property across the street.
Please come help us develop a plan that will become a new landmark for our community.
The Herald coffee bar is open mornings on Tuesdays only.
