No injuries in car fire at gas station
Statesboro Fire Department W

A car fire at the Enmarket convenience store and gas station on Fair Road Monday didn't damage a nearby ATM or gas pumps, but it destroyed the vehicle, said Statesboro Fire Department Capt. Stacey Wilson.

Firefighters were called to the scene around

3:45 p.m. Monday and found the vehicle, parked next to an ATM but a short distance away from the gas pumps, fully engulfed. The blaze destroyed the engine and damaged the dash, totaling the car.

No one was injured in the fire, which was quickly extinguished, he said.
