The Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department will hold Bulloch County’s annual Trick or Treat at Mill Creek Park on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Trick or Treat at Mill Creek Park allows folks to celebrate the fall season in a family-friendly Halloween atmosphere. The event will have a large candy trail, games, a hay ride, inflatables, horseback rides and more.

“Over 30 local businesses will be part of the large candy trail giving out goodies,” Event Coordinator Kimberly Sharpe said. “We appreciate these businesses and our sponsors for helping us provide such a fun, safe, event for our citizens.”

This is a free event, except for concessions and horseback rides, thanks to these sponsors and businesses. Horseback rides are only $5 each and benefit the Recreation Department’s therapeutic horseback riding program, Stirrup Some Fun. Concession fees are nominal for items such as hamburgers, hotdogs, cotton candy, soft drinks and funnel cakes.

For this event, there is no parking allowed on Beasley Road or at Mill Creek Elementary. Please park inside Mill Creek Park, there will be plenty of parking spaces.

Trick or Treat at Mill Creek is sponsored by AT&T, Coca-Cola, Kiwanis Club, Downtown Rotary Club, Northland Cable, WingMaxx, Hall Law Group, Arrow Rentals, Statesboro Golf Carts, Crazy Nick’s Inflatables, and Chick-fil-A.
