Man shot dead in Statesboro
Two others injured; police investigating

    A Statesboro man was killed and two people injured during a shooting early Saturday morning on Orange Street.
    Corey Oneil Walker, 21, was killed by two shots from an unknown semi-automatic weapon, according to a press release issued by the Statesboro Police Department.
    Officers responded to the scene at approximately 12:50 a.m. after reports of three subjects being shot. All were transported by Bulloch EMS to East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
    No one has been arrested in connection with the incident as of Sunday evening. No description of a suspect or suspects was released.
    James L. Williams, 43, and Chalandria McClouden, 30, were each taken to Memorial Health Center in Savannah where they were listed in stable condition.
    McClouden was was struck by "some bullet fragments" while Williams was hit twice. All three victims were shot with an unknown semi-automatic weapon.
    An autopsy will be performed on Walker to determine the exact cause of death.
    All three victims were current residents of Statesboro.
