The literary teams from both Statesboro High and Southeast Bulloch High School’s each took first-place honors at their respective Region 2-AAAA and Region 3-AA Literary events last week.
The win is twice as sweet for SHS as they won the event last year as well. Both schools had many individual event winners; in fact, not a single Southeast Bulloch student placed lower than fourth in their events.
The boys’ quartets from both schools and the girls’ trio and girl’s solo students from Southeast Bulloch all captured first place
The individual first place winners will advance to the state literary events in Warner Robins later this month. The literary team at SHS is coordinated by Eddie Frazier, and the SEBHS team is led by Linda Fix, Brent Whitaker and Joni Mock.
