Do the right thing when it comes to health care reform
Placeholder Image

As an American citizen and Georgia voter living abroad, I have experience of the British National Health Service and I know full well what a fine system it is.
I also know that, as things stand, I could never afford to return to America because of my health care needs. What I want - for myself and those I love - is a fair, affordable health care system, with public option (or, better yet, a single payer system!) so that we can keep the corporations honest and serving us, rather than their pockets.
It's time America joined the ranks of every other developed nation and puts the health of its people before profits. Even from the perspective of the bottom line, a healthy happy workforce ultimately costs less than a sick, unproductive one.
      Do the right thing.
