Three masked men robbed a local hotel Monday night, and Statesboro Police are seeking information on the suspects and incident.
Around 11 p.m., three masked men wearing dark clothing entered Springhill Suites off Fair Road, armed with a gun and knives,
said Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner.
They demanded cash from the clerk and a visitor, then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
No one was injured, Turner said.
After the initial response, Statesboro Police Detective Tommy Brown responded to the scene and is investigating the incident.
“Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact the Statesboro Police Department at (912) 764-9911, or submit a tip online at tipsoftonline.com,” he said. “All calls or emails will remain confidential.”
