The Georgia Southern Museum has its own cookbook, and the museum wants you to have it.
The book will be available, for $20, during an open house from 1-5 p.m. Saturday in the College Plaza offices of the museum’s outreach programs, Projects SENSE (Science Education Network for the South East) and BESST (Be Engaged in Social Studies Teaching).
The programs, designed to help teachers in the elementary and middle school grades teach science, are the beneficiaries of the cookbook sale.
The cookbook is called “SENSEable Recipes and BESST Cooking.”
The open house also will feature special presentations at 2, 3 and 4 p.m., with light refreshments and music by the Hushpuppies, along with a photo wall of fame of teachers from the past 20 years.
