The Brooklet Kiwanis Club holds a breakfast on Christmas Eve every year to help raise money for gift certificates that will be given out to the needy.
      The club's annual Prayer Breakfast was held Saturday at Brooklet United Methodist Church.
      Proceeds from the breakfast will be distributed next holiday season. The club gave out $1,500 in gift certificates this year according to club president Byron Mullican.
