Georgia Southern University's Performing Arts Center, 847 Plant Drive, will present Sweet Honey in the Rock's 40th Anniversary Tour on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. as its first performance of the 2014-2015 season. "The PAC staff is incredibly excited about the variety of shows we're offering this year and we know that everyone from all walks of life will be able to find something in our season that speaks to them," said Stacie McDaniel, house manager at the PAC. "We are especially thrilled to open our season with such a dynamic, award-winning group. Sweet Honey in the Rock's soulful vocals range from blues and jazz to gospel, and I have never heard harmonies executed so expertly and beautifully.
