A man who fought and injured two deputies while resisting arrest Saturday ended up with several felony charges after being subdued by Taser. Eddie Roy Smith, of Railroad Street in Brooklet, was arguing with a woman in a “mostly verbal dispute” Saturday evening when someone called for help, said Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown. Brooklet police arrived at the scene first, as the location was just outside of the city limits, he said.
