Statesboro Police Incidents
PLAYERS CLUB APARTMENTS — Complainants reported a burglary, listing several item taken including two lap top computers, $200 from one room and $2,000 from another; a check for $150 made out to the apartment complex, and $500 in money orders.
WILLOW BEND APARTMENTS — A woman reported two men took two bicycles, and her son said the suspects lived at Park Place. The suspects fled when police arrived but the bikes were recovered.
FLOYD STREET — A woman reported the theft of three plastic chairs.
FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman said she entered an apartment and a man keeping children there slapped her in the face.
VISTA CIRCLE — A complainant reported an entering auto incident where $70 worth of merchandise was taken.
GATE STATION/SOUTH MAIN — A clerk said a man tried to take a case of beer without paying. An apparent struggle occurred and the beer was recovered, but police reported a simple battery incident as well.
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
SILVER CREEK SALOON — (Register) A man said he found a plastic container next to the business door and noticed it was "swollen up and about to bust." He carried it across the road and threw a knife at it to release the pressure, then noticed an ammonia-like odor. He said he suspected a former employee tried to "build a bomb" of some sort as retaliation for being fired.
BREAM ROAD/PIKE ROAD — (Clito) A Pike Road woman told deputies a man had been trespassing on her property. Two days later a man living in the area on Bream Road told deputies a man wearing a white shirt and red hat came to his home stating he worked for the recycling center and asked to use the phone. The suspect was the same one the first complainant called deputies about and was served criminal trespass for both residences. The suspect lives at a Pike Road location.
NORTH LANE — (Ellabell) A woman said she argued with her cousin over the cleanliness of the house and not helping pay bills. She wanted the woman to move, but deputies informed her it was a civil matter and must be dealt with in magistrate court.
SCARLETT PLACE — (Brooklet) A woman said her estranged husband threatened to cause a disturbance at her work place and harasses her by phone.
B. L. KENDRICKS ROAD — (Clito) A man said a Millen man, his child's mother's boyfriend, has been calling him, harassing him, threatening if he sees the complainant "he's gonna get hurt." The complainant said this stems from a civil matter between him and the mother of his child.
SHERIFF'S OFFICE — A woman filed a complaint about her estranged husband calling her, harassing her. She played voice mail recordings for deputies.
In a separate incident a man told deputies a female called him, stating she was his girlfriend and not the young lady he is dating. Then the female, who identified herself as "Sherry," threatened to slit his and his true girlfriend's throat.

Troopers issued 21 warnings, assisted three motorists and investigated four crashes with two reported injuries Wednesday.

Officers issued three traffic warnings, investigated one traffic accident, assisted seven motorists and one sick person, and responded to two alarms Wednesday.
