Statesboro Police Arrests

                Henry Mae Wilson, 37, Spruce Street — disorderly conduct, wanted person.

                James Willie Hobbs, 49, Pine Street — disorderly conduct.

                                 

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests

                  There were no reported arrests.

               

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

                Kinyard Harry Garriel, 37, Dewey Garriel Road — (Collins) driving under the influence (.153)

                Timoteo Moralez, 25, Maria Vaca Trailer Park — (Candler) driving under the influence (.210)

                Pascual Mauricia, 20, Sandstone Place — (Candler) driving under the influence (.041)

Statesboro Police Incidents

                BUCKHEAD DRIVE — Pizza Hut manager said the a driver was paid with a stolen check for $30.21. The owner of the checkbook was contacted.

                PINE STREET — A man threatened to fight a woman because she owed him $10. As they were yelling and threatening each other, the police were notified and the offenders were arrested. Alcohol was involved.

                FAIR ROAD — An officer stopped a red truck that was speeding on Fair Road. After he approached the vehicle, he noticed 30 cans of beer in the vehicle. Since both driver and passenger were under 21, they were cited with underage possession and the beer was confiscated.

                WEST GENTILLY — A blue Lincoln was noticed with an expired tag. When the officer stopped the vehicle, the driver was found to have no insurance and an open container. His car was towed, was cited for all three violations and released at the scene.

                J & B LAUNDRY — Someone entered a vehicle and took a wallet, four social security cards and blood pressure medication.

                PLAYERS CLUB APTS — A sick person was transported to East Georgia Medical Center.

                ROBINS NEST — A woman said a man threw her in the pool and damaged her phone.

                PIZZA HUT — A wallet was found in the parking lot and turned over to the police.

                LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE — Two white males and a white female left the restaurant without paying the $105 bill. They were reported driving off in a black Chevrolet Cavalier.

                UNIVERSITY POINTE APTS — Complainant said a man came to his front door and dented it. He also showed the complainant a gun and threatened him. Motives for the altercation remain unknown.

                UNIVERSITY POINTE APTS — A woman said she received threatening phone calls from someone who said they wanted to fight her. She did not recognize the voice.

                EAST GEORGIA MEDICAL CENTER — An unknown person entered a vehicle and left behind a black and gold buck knife. No items were reported missing from the car.

                COLLEGE PARK UNIVERSITY PINES — A man said two other men hit him in the face and body because they claimed he had started another fight with one of their friends. There were no signs of injury.

                HONEST JOHNS PAWN SHOP — A man dropped off a shotgun for cleaning and the gun went missing. The man said staff had supposedly ordered a replacement gun, but it had not yet arrived. He wanted to file a report in order to pursue legal action against the shop.

                MCDONALDS ON FAIR ROAD — A man became irate about not receiving his order, went behind the counter and pushed an employee. He attempted to grab a bag of food when the manager asked him to leave. The man said the staff would not give him food because he did not have a receipt.  

                                               

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents

                STATE ROAD 67 — A deputy noticed a vehicle without a license tag displayed. After making contact with the driver, he discovered the vehicle did not have insurance. The driver was arrested.

                EAST STONEYBROOK COURT — A woman said her son had been stabbed in the groin area with a pencil by another juvenile. The offender was arrested and transported to the sheriff's office for processing.

                HUCKNALL PLACE — In Carrington South subdivision, a man reported having problems with construction workers who are building a new home next door. The victim said they have been using water and electricity without permission. He also noticed paint on his driveway as a result of a container being cleaned there. There was a paint trail from the driveway over to the construction site.

                NEVILS DENMARK ROAD — A woman was told by a neighbor that he saw a figure trying to look in the window of their trailer. The neighbor said when he tried to investigate, the figure ran off down the road, got into a green Honda and left at a high rate of speed. The woman was advised to obtain some motion sensor lighting.

                TIMESAVER ON HIGHWAY 67 — Police responded to a report of a counterfeit $50 bill.

                PECAN GROVE TRAILER PARK — An unknown person stole 500 foot of copper wire.

                OLD HOOD LANE — A woman said that during a domestic dispute, her boyfriend threatened to burn down his house. When officers contacted the man, she states that he was not going to burn down the only place he had to live.

                                                               

Georgia State Patrol Incidents

                On Friday and Saturday, troopers issued 30 citations and 34 warnings, assisted six motorists, investigated 11 crashes and helped three injured people.

                Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 13 calls.

                 Statesboro Police Department — 22 calls.

                Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — nine calls.

                Brooklet Police — two calls.

                Portal Police — one call.

                Candler County Sheriff's Department — four calls.

                Evans County Sheriff's Department — one calls.

               

911 Fire Department Reports

                Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

                Statesboro Fire Department — one call.

                Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — two calls.

                Metter Fire Department — one call.

                               

911 EMS Reports

                Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Friday:

                Bulloch County EMS — one accident and 12 medical calls.  

                Candler County EMS — four medical calls. 

                Evans County EMS — two medical calls.   

                Central 911 operators also routed one call each to Tattnal, Effingham, Toombs, Bryan and Emmanuel Counties as well as one call to BCCI.
