Statesboro Police Arrests
Annette Delores Murray, 53, Proctor Street – failure to maintain lane, DUI (refused test).
Darrell Johnson, 27, Knight Drive – failure to appear.
Russell Cleveland Milner, 20, Marvin Avenue – simple battery, underage possession of alcohol, public intoxication, obstruction.
Andreyous Luther Jones, 18, Jones Mil Road – theft by shoplifting.
Charles Anthony Graves Jr., 18, Creekside Way, Metter – theft by shoplifting.
Arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

    Arrests made Thursday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police Incidents
RUDE RUDY’S – Police arrested a man causing problems at the bar. He fled, but they caught him and took him to jail.
THE EXCHANGE APARMENTS – A man who appeared to be OK after jumping from a balcony was taken to the hospital for surveillance anyway.
THE GRILL – A man told police two other men threatened to shoot him and shoot up the restaurant. They fled before police arrived.
VETERAN’S MEMORIALPARKWAY/BRANEN STREET – A woman said a man with whom she argued stopped the car, threw her groceries out and pulled her form the car, then left her there.
Incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.
 
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
GEORGE ROAD – (Brooklet) A man reported someone broke into his brother’s home while the tenant was out of the country.
BIG BAY BOULEVARD – (Ellabell) A couple were involved in a domestic argument.
ROCKY FORD ROAD – (Portal) A man found another man on neighboring property, fishing. When asked whether he had permission, the offender became irate and fled. Deputies located him and charged him with traffic offenses.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Sept. 28-Oct. 4 .
    Animals incoming:
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas - nine dogs and one cat.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits – seven dogs and 11 cats.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Portal city limits – one dog.
    Abandoned at shelter – nine dogs and a cat.
    Surrendered by citizens – three dogs and 14 cats.
    Number of animals in surrendered litters - six kittens.
    Animals outgoing:
    Shelter adoptions – five dogs and one cat.
Returned to owners – five dogs.
Euthanized from adoption floor – two dogs.
    Euthanized from isolation - 11 dogs and 10 cats.
    Officer activity:
    Deer complaints – one in the rural county area.
    Snake complaints – one in the Statesboro city limits
    Court summons/citations - none.
    Warnings issued - 10.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees - $210.
    Surrender fees - $30.
    Returned animal fines- $125.
    Donatins - $5.
