Statesboro Police Arrests

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Marquice Danell Maynard, 22,  Countryside Estates — disorderly conduct, public intoxication.
    Fred J. Perry, 39, N. Taylor Court — public intoxication.
    John Martin Brown, 59, . L. Kendrick Road, Brooklet — driving with a suspended or revoked license.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Hugo Morales, 27, Metter — DUI (pending test results).
    Troopers issued four traffic violation citations.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      Abraham Shahin Azad, 18, Brannen Hall — obstruction of an officer.
    Antonio Lavelle Henry, 20,  Park Place — entering auto.
   
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    ROUNDTREE STREET — A man told police he and another man tried catching a stray pit bull terrier in his yard and the dog bit him.
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS — A woman said her brother tried to choke her during an argument. Another woman at the scene said the man grabbed her wrists in an aggressive manner.
    DENMARK STREET — A woman said she asked her boyfriend to get his belongings and leave, but he pushed her down instead.
    SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A woman told police a man pushed her down some steps.
    COLLEGE PARK UNIVERSITY PINES — Police arrested a man for manufacturing marijuana.
    WAL-MART — A woman purchased some items, but concealed an assortment of beauty products and CDs and left without paying for them.
    GREENBRIAR TRAIL — A woman said her sister hit her and scratched her.
    ST. JAMES PLACE — A man said his wife and daughter stay next door and harass him regarding a previous disagreement over their both staying out over the weekend.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    BROOMSTRAW PLACE — (Ellabell) Deputies responded to a 911 hang-up and found a verbal dispute in progress involving a juvenile and his mother.    AMANDA ROAD —(Statesboro) A tractor trailer rig was blocking traffic and causing a hazard. Deputies could not locate the owner to move it so they had the rig towed.
    MILL CREEK ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said another male has been riding four-wheelers and golf carts on his property.
    DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — (Register) A woman said someone removed screws form her satellite dish.
    COWBOY WAY — (Portal) A man said he and his daughter argued, and he told her she could stay as long as she respected him.
    WOLF PEN MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A woman reported an unruly juvenile.
    WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Statesboro) A juvenile was found with a knife.
    DANIEL W. JOHNS ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said someone burned a small area on her property.
    SINKHOLE ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a ceramic pot and fiberglass ladder and said someone cut the lock to his shed.
    OLD SHIRE WAY — (Statesboro) A man said another male broke a PVC fence.
    MARIA SORRELL ROAD — (Clito) A man told deputies he saw an unknown person in his yard who fled when the complainant walked outside.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 25 warnings and investigated three crashes with three reported injuries Thursday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    OLLIFF HALL — Someone took a bicycle from a bike rack.
    WINBURN HALL — Someone reported a disturbance.
     PAULSON STADIUM — A complainant reported a set of keys taken from a vehicle in the  parking lot.
     Officers issued two traffic warnings, investigated two traffic accidents and assisted three motorists Thursday.
         
911  Law Enforcement Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - eight calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 15 calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — two calls.
    Brooklet Police Department — one call.
    
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — three calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — three calls.
    Metter Fire Department — one call.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one rescue call and 13 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — four  medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — no  medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Emanuel County 911, a call to the Bulloch county coroner, a call to Screven County 911 and a call to Bryan County 911.
