Statesboro Police Incidents
JAMAN CAFÉ – Two unknown women tried to purchase alcoholic beverages with fake IDs. When confronted, they left in a white Nissan XTerra.
COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES – A man and a woman were involved in a verbal dispute. The woman left to spend the night at a friend’s house.
Coye Wayne Hart, 19, (Ellaville) – underage possession of alcohol.
UNIVERSITY PLAZA – A young man was witnessed standing by a friend’s truck with the door open drinking a beer. He was cited for possession and poured the rest of his beer out.
E OLIFF DRIVE – An officer attempted to make a traffic stop of a grey Chevy Trailblazer on Northside Drive East and Woodrow. The driver sped through the light and accelerated on Wooddrow. The officer did not pursue at that point.
GROOVER HOMES – A resident complained that an unwanted person keeps coming around her residence uninvited. She said they’ve been having problems the past couple of weeks and wants him to be served with a trespass citation.
ELM STREET – A woman said that an unknown offender threw a brick through her front door window.
MIKE ANN DRIVE – A woman said she put her iPhone down on the stoop at a party and the phone went missing.
LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APTS – A woman said she an her brother we in an altercation. She had a bruise and visible swelling around her right eye, and was treated at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
STADIUM PLACE APTS – A woman and her boyfriend were involved in a verbal altercation. Both parties agreed to separate for the evening.
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
There were no reported incidents.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
Troopers issued 24 citations and 14 warnings, had one medical relay, assisted three motorists, investigated five crashes and assisted three injured people.
Georgia Southern University Incidents
WINBURN HALL — A bicycle was taken.
SOUTHERN COURTYARD — A portion of a bulletin board was burned.
SOUTHERN COURTYARD — A case of harassment was reported.
Officers issued five citations and 10 warnings, assisted seven motorists, investigated on accident, responded to two alarms and helped one sick person.
