Statesboro Police Arrests    
    Cassandra Joy Terra, 29, Gentilly Drive — fourth offense driving with a suspended license, DUI.
    Jimmy Talmadge Selbo, 39, Tillman Pond Road — driving with a suspended license, failure to obey a traffic control device.
    William Henry Shaw, 58, Tamo Lane — second offense DUI.
    Sterling Jay Long, 28, Augusta Highway, Lincolnton — public intoxication.
    Chaz J. Ballard, 22, Chestnut Drive, East Point — possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm without a license, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a deadly weapon into a public gathering, wanted person, possession of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school.
    Kelvin Koetreze Shannon, 33, North Main Street — wanted person.
    Latovia Phineses Hines, 27, North College Street — financial transaction card fraud.
    Michael Nelson Arthur, 20, Effingham Highway, Sylvania — speeding, DUI.
    Haile Allan Urquart, 24, Little John Court — following too closely, DUI.
    Tidaeyia Shulay Lewis, 19, South College Street — theft by shoplifting.
    Christopher Allan Slade, 22, Effingham Highway, Sylvania — defective headlights, driving with a suspended license.

    James F. Bennett III, 20, Chandler Road —  DUI, disobedience to a traffic control device.
    Nicholas Lee Abney, 24, Vaneville County Line Road, Tifton —  red light violation, DUI.

    Troopers issued 13 traffic violation citations Wednesday.

Statesboro Police Incidents    
    CAMPUS COURTYARD APARTMENTS — A woman said a man pushed her in the chest. Police arrested him for simple battery.
    DENMARK STREET — A woman called police because her nephew was beating her sister with a barbell, and kicked her in the stomach until the complainant got on the phone to call for help.
    FAIR ROAD — A woman fled on foot after rear-ending another driver. Police located her and arrested her for hit and run as well as having prescription medication that was not in its original container.
    MATTHEWS ROAD — A man reported two automobile break-ins. The offender took a stereo from one vehicle and some cash from another.
    MADISON MEADOWS —  A woman told police some juveniles jumped on her car to escape two pit bulldogs that were chasing them. The car windshield cracked under the juveniles' weight. Humane enforcement officers retrieved the dogs.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    BENNETT GROOMS ROAD — (Brooklet) A man said kids on four-wheelers cut doughnuts on his property when he asked them to leave, since they were trespassing.
    TILLMAN POND ROAD — (Nevils) A man said a Brooklet man attacked him after an argument, cutting his chin.
    CYPRESS LAKE ROAD — (Register) A woman told deputies her boyfriend stole her vehicle, but when deputies checked they discovered the vehicle was registered in both their names, so it was a civil matter, not a crime.
    COASTAL TRANSMISSION — (Statesboro) A man reported someone cut a chain link fence, but nothing appeared to be missing.
    OLLIFF HILL LANE — (Statesboro) A man told deputies he found his dog in a neighbor's open septic tank. Both Bulloch Humane Enforcement and the Bulloch County Health Department were notified.
    FERNWOOD DRIVE — (Ellabell) Deputies responded to a call about a dispute between mother and daughter, but when they arrived, the 17-year-old daughter told them she did not know why they were called. After a discussion with all parties, the teen admitted shoving her mother with her shoulder during an argument over a cell phone. She began yelling she was sorry and would not do it again, but the mother showed deputies a copy of an incident report where the offender had been jailed for battery in Liberty County in May. Deputies arrested the teen for simple battery and disorderly conduct.
    EVERETT LANE — (Brooklet) A man said someone took the following from a carport: a weed eater, a floor jack, a gas operated generator, a radiator pressure tester, a cutting torch, miscellaneous tools in a red box, a drill and skill saw.
    U. S. 301 NORTH — (Statesboro) A woman said a Millen man argued with her over child custody.
    SWALLOWTAIL DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman said another female has been harassing her by phone, threatening her and cursing her. The offender also left voice mail messages, and arrived with another female at the complainant's house, standing in her front yard and yelling threats, taunting her to come fight.
    LINCOLN STREET — (Statesboro) A man reported a burglary, and said the offender took a 50 inch plasma TV as well as left the kitchen drawers open. The offender did lock the door when he left, and the complainant suspects the offender has a key.
    TURF ROAD — (Statesboro) A man told deputies his ex-girlfriend took two DVD players, a satellite receiver, two cordless phones and two cell phones, then damaged the residence.
            
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 13 warnings, assisted two motorists and investigated six crashes with five reported injuries Wednesday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    Officers issued four traffic warnings and assisted two motorists Wednesday.

    Statesboro Police Department — 16 calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — six calls.
    Brooklet Police Department —  one call.

    Candler County Sheriff's Department — two calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — one call.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — one calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — three calls.
    Metter Fire Department — one call.
    Metter Rescue — one call.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — three accident calls, one fire call and 10 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — one accident call, two medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — two medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Jenkins County 911, a call to Emanuel County 911 and a call to Tattnall County 911.
