Statesboro Police Arrests     
    Tyrone Bias, 44, Windmill Drive, Claxton — driving with a suspended license, no brake lights or turn signal.
    Casey Louis May, 19, Leah Drive, Power Springs —  theft by shoplifting, marijuana possession.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests    
    Jovahn Marquis Barber, 18, Lanier Drive — probation violation.
    Megen Samantha Smith, 19, Rebekah Road — battery.
        
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
     Troopers issued six traffic violation citations Wednesday.
             
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      Dajon D. Gates-Mitchell, 18, Eagle Village — entering auto.
     
Statesboro Police Incidents    
     DAIRY QUEEN — A woman said someone stole her purse from her car. The purse was found, minus $95, in a nearby dumpster. So was a book bag, which belonged to another woman who said her car had been entered as well. Besides the book bag she said a GPS unit was stolen.
    STADIUM WALK — Police responded to a fire. Statesboro Fire Department personnel also responded and extinguished the blaze.
    WEST LAKE DRIVE — A woman said she attended a Super Bowl party and another woman threatened her, causing her to fear for her safety.
    CROMARTIE DRIVE — A woman said someone entered her home  through a window and took clothes, shoes and jewelry.
    WILLOW BEND APARTMENTS — A woman said her husband struck her adult son in the face because he used the downstairs bathroom.
    THE AVENUE AT SOUTHERN — A woman reported someone threw food on two vehicles, and one was dented, likely by a soup can found nearby.
    180 FITNESS —  A woman said another woman threatened to beat her up and has sent several unwanted text messages.
    COLLEGE PLAZA — A man reported tools and meters taken from his vehicle.
    STATESBORO MALL — A woman said a man struck her in  the face during an argument over a cell phone.
    FLORENCE AVENUE — A woman reported several prescription medications taken in a burglary.
    In a separate incident a woman called police to remove an unwanted person.
    STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A student reported a purse stolen.
    BERMUDA RUN APARTMENTS — A woman said a wallet with ID, bank cards and $150 stolen from her home.
    WAL-MART — A man suffered a bout of low blood sugar and felt ill. EMS responded and treated him at the scene.
    In a separate incident two shoplifters were apprehended, one arrested for shoplifting and marijuana possession, the other served with criminal trespass.
    BELK — A woman store detectives followed, suspecting her of shoplifting, dropped four infant dresses and fled in her vehicle.
    PATE PLACE APARTMENTS — A man reported a computer stolen from his home.
    NORTH COLLEGE STREET — A city employee reported a gas meter, which had been shut off, was tampered with and the lock broken. The meter showed a gas usage reading reflecting use after the lock had been broken.
      
Georgia State Patrol Incidents    
    Troopers issued 21 warnings, assisted five motorists and investigated three crashes with two reported injuries Wednesday.
         
Georgia Southern University Incidents
      Officers assisted nine motorists, assisted one sick person and responded to one alarm Wednesday.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 19 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 21 calls.
    University Police Department —  one call.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.
    Brooklet Police Department — two calls.
        
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer Firefighters — seven calls.
    Meter Fire Department — one call.
    Claxton Rescue — one call.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one fire call and 14  medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — one accident call and one  medical call.  
    Evans County EMS — one accident call and three medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed three calls to Bulloch County First Responders and a call to Emanuel County 911.
