Statesboro Police Arrests          

            No arrests filed.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Arell Laquecia Hobbs, 25, Mike Brannen Road, Register — no insurance, expired tag.

            Marvin Carlton King, 46, Pike Road — second offense battery (family violence), interference with government property, third offense DUI.

            Carolyn Nicole Mincey, 23, West Jones Avenue — probation violation.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 35 traffic violation citations Sunday.

            Robert Pierce Jr., 58, West 37th Street, Savannah — DUI (refused test).

            Kenneth Redding, 41, Moore Road, Portal —  DUI (accident-related, .099).

                         

Georgia Southern University Arrests

            Michael Lee Gardner, 19, Kemper Drive, Evans — theft by taking.

            Evan Richard Glasco, 19, Kennedy Hall —  forgery and obtaining dangerous drugs by fraud.

            Kefan C. Hauhan, 20,  South Main Street — DUI, open container violation, and opening doors on a moving vehicle.

            Officers issued two traffic citations  Saturday.

            Nicholas Scott Logsdon, 20,  University Pines — possession of marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs, and laying drag.

                       

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            HARVEY'S —  (FAIR ROAD) Two people were charged with criminal trespass after an employee complained that they were asking customers for money.

            CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A man said an unknown person had been throwing food items at his door. He saw a man throw a cup of some brown substance at his porch, but when police questioned the suspect he denied doing any such thing. Officers told him to stay away from the complainant's home.

            NORTHSIDE APARTMENTS — A man called police to report a friend of his took his keys and rental car without permission and had not returned.

            COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS — A Donnie Simmons Way woman told police her juvenile daughter was unruly and left without permission, then did not return. She located her at an apartment but the girl refused to answer the door. Police got an answer, however, and the girl was reunited with her mother, who chose not to press charges.

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Trooper issued 29 warnings, assisted two motorists and investigated four crashes with one reported injury Sunday.

           

Georgia Southern University Incidents

            EAGLE VILLAGE — Someone took a Cadillac emblem from a vehicle.

            BRANNEN HALL Two laptop computer were taken from Brannen Hall.

            OLLIFF HALL — Someone reported a laptop computer taken from the premises.

            SOUTHERN PINES — A resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.

            SOUTHERN COURTYARD — A laptop computer was reported missing.

            FRIDAY —  Officers issued two traffic warnings and assisted eight motorists.

            SATURDAY — Officers three traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.

       SUNDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, investigated two traffic accidents and assisted one motorist.

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 15 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 19 calls.

            University Police Department — one call.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.

           

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 11 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 20 calls.

            University Police Department — two calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — six calls.

            Brooklet Police — one call.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — 10 calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — two calls.

                       

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — six calls.

            Claxton Fire Department — one call.

           

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — three calls.

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — three calls.

            Metter Fire Department —  calls.

            Metter Rescue Unit — two calls.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Friday:

            Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one fire call and nine medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one accident call and two medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — two medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Emanuel County 911.

           

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — one rescue call and 14 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — three medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — two medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  a call to the Bulloch County coroner; a call to Candler County Forestry; a call to Bulloch County First Responders, and a call to Tattnall County 911.
