Statesboro Police Incidents
BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS — A woman told police she saw two men arguing, and one fired a gun. The other left in a car, while the man with a gun walked around the basketball court for a few moments before leaving.
In a separate incident at the same location, a woman saw a man attacked by several men. The man fled, but when police located him he was bleeding. EMS arrived and the man was treated before being arrested for family abandonment charges in Dekalb County.
WEST MAIN STREET — A woman said she and a man had a physical confrontation that left her with visible injuries. The argument was over a puppy he wanted her to take home.
MARTIN LUTHER KING BOULEVARD — A man told police someone stole a tire, wheel and lug nuts from a tractor trailer rig.
STILES INN — A man said he argued with another man, who waved a gun at him .
WILLOW BEND APARTMENTS — A resident told police someone shattered a window with a tire rim and then entered the home, causing disarray.
LAFAYETTE STREET — A woman set a fire on her porch to ward away mosquitoes. She doused it with water, she said, but moments later a man in the home found the porch and a chair in flames.
HIPNOTIC (STATESBORO MALL) — A woman reported receiving a counterfeit $100 bill.

MOORE ROAD — (Portal) A woman said another female threw a knife through her window while she was lying in bed. She said the offender did so because the two had argued earlier over the other woman wasting clothes detergent.
BRANNEN ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said a tenant caused plumbing problems by flushing dog hair and paper towels. Repairmen came out and the landlord told the tenant how much she would have to pay for the damage. When the tenant did not show up for a meeting about the issue, the complainant went o the house and discovered the tenant had moved and left water running, flooding the home.
BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of a green Kawasaki Mule from a shed.
CODDLE COURT — (Statesboro) A man told deputies someone took an inflatable kayak from his property.
