Statesboro Police Incidents WAL-MART Police arrested a woman for shoplifting baby clothes and towels by placing them in a diaper bag and leaving the store without paying for them. BROAD STREET A man reported the theft of a power chair form his yard, but a juvenile neighbor located it. FAIR ROAD A woman said a man called her seven times at work and she feels harassed by the calls. SOUTH COLLEGE STREET A man said a woman came to his home to argue and tried to run over him. The woman showed police evidence where he choked, grabbed her and scratched her, and he gave himself up for arrest. HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS A woman told police a man sold her jewelry box and took her house key. The man said the jewelry box was his and the woman is not on his lease. LANIER DRIVE A man said someone entered his truck and took a CD player faceplate. MINCEY STREET A man reported the theft of a double-axle utility trailer. A witness said she saw two men in a white Ford truck take the trailer. Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents FRANKLIN LANE (Statesboro) A woman said she was the victim of a large-scale identity theft scam associated with TJX Companies, Inc. ALLISON LANE (Nevils) While in the hospital, a man told deputies he had fought with two offenders, one juvenile, and suffered bumps and abrasions on his face and head. WILLIAMS LANE (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance between a man and woman. ROCKY FORD ROAD (Garfield) A man said someone put a foreign substance in his fuel tanks and ruined the engine of two trucks. He also reported the theft of his wallet with a large amount of cash and checks, and said he had several people over throughout the weekend he did not normally entertain. LANGSTON CHAPEL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (Statesboro) A child brought a knife to school in his book bag. PAMELA WAY (Statesboro) A man told police another man would not return his stereo. The offender said the complainant sold him the stereo and he would return it if the complainant paid him back the $60. Georgia State Patrol Incidents Troopers issued 14 warnings, assisted three motorists, and investigated four crashes with one reported injury Friday.
