Statesboro Police Arrests

            Roy Clyde Dowd Jr., 26, Varsity Lodge Apartments — public intoxication, obstruction.

            Christopher Alan Wise, 20, Bradford Lane, Evans — underage possession of alcohol, public intoxication.

            James Howard Boring,48, Beagle Road, Millen — driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, obstruction.

            Cody Walter Cunningham, 19, Reidsville — DUI under 21, no blood alcohol level listed.

            Cleveland Eliot Cone, 31, Tillman Street — DUI (refused test).

            Franklin G. Edwards, 42, Sylvania — DUI (.151).

            Troopers  issued 57 citations Friday for traffic violations.

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            CINEMA 12 — A man beating on the windows was arrested for pubic intoxication and underage possession of alcohol.

            WOODLANDS APARTMENTS — A woman said another female calls her and sends text messages even after she asked her not to do so.

            COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS — A man said another man came to his home and pushed him, so he struck back, and injured his hand.

            HONEY BOWEN BUILDING — A woman said she had a birthday party for her son, but several uninvited guests appeared and began fighting. Police arrived and saw the melee, but the offenders fled when they saw the officers.          

            COLLEGE LANE — A woman said another female struck her in the eye during an argument over the victim's brother.

            Troopers issued 91 warnings and investigated four crashes with no reported injuries Friday.
