A man arrested Tuesday after a three-county motorcycle chase was riding a bike stolen from North Dakota, police said. Jim Craig Wilkerson, 23, Portal, refused to stop Tuesday afternoon when Metter police tried to pull him over for speeding and lack of registration for the motorcycle, said Metter Police Capt. Robert Shore. Carrying an unidentified female passenger, Wilkerson fled into Tattnall and then Toombs counties before crashing on a curve, he said.
