The cause of a fire that took the life of a Nevils area woman Monday is still undetermined, but Bulloch County Sheriff's Investigator Jason Long said Wednesday there is no foul play suspected. Pamela Porter, 32, was killed in the early-morning blaze around 2:45 a.m. Monday when the Reedy Branch Road home in which she was located caught fire. Three occupants were able to escape the flames, sheriff's officials said. The house was fully engulfed upon firefighter's arrival.
