ä WIDOWERS’ GRIEF Support and Education Group, for men who have experienced the death of a spouse/significant one, will meet Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in the small conference room of Ogeechee Area Hospice. A light breakfast and coffee will be provided.

ä AMERICAN LEGION Post 90 will meet Thursday at the Post home, Rucker Lane, beginning at 6 p.m.

 Upcoming Events

ä ANNUAL CHRISTMAS Eve Community Prayer Breakfast will be held Dec. 24 in the social hall of Brooklet United Methodist Church, Parker Avenue, Brooklet, beginning at 8 a.m. The proceeds of this “donation only” event will help provide Christmas presents for local children. There will be music and Pastor Chip Strickland will deliver the message. Hosted/sponsored by Brooklet Kiwanis Club. For more information call (912) 871-5666.

ä COMPLIMENTARY CHRISTMAS Dinner for Senior Citizens and the needy will be held Dec. 25, noon-2 p.m., at the Honey Bowen Building, Max Lockwood Drive.
