Bulloch County Recreation and Parks announced recently that Cannon Petitjean has been promoted to Parks Division Manager for the Rec Department.

Petitjean has worked for the department for 20 years, playing an integral role in the care and development of county parks and facilities. 

“His passion for serving the community and his deep knowledge of our park system make him the perfect fit for this leadership role,” a Facebook post from Bulloch County Recreation and Parks reads.

Also, Cam Buchanan was named the new Athletic Supervisor for the southern end of Bulloch County. Buchanan will oversee athletics at Brooklet, Nevils and Stilson Parks, with his office based at the Brooklet Community Building in Brooklet Park.

Buchanan brings experience from Effingham County Recreation and Georgia Southern men’s basketball.
