A man suspected in a shooting Saturday at Park Place Apartments was arrested Sunday in Cobb County. Ronnie Jones Jr., 22, Gentilly Drive, was arrested on an active warrant related to Saturday’s shooting, said Statesboro Police Maj. Rob Bryan, interim chief. After his arrest in Cobb County, he was transported to the Bulloch County Jail, where he was booked Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault with a gun, according to jail records.
