Seven people — including a man who was shot during an attempted robbery Sunday evening — were arrested Thursday after officers responded to an apartment trying to find a man wanted for selling cocaine, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office. Investigators with the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team responded to the Lodge Apartments of Statesboro on Institute Street in an attempt to locate a man wanted for sale of cocaine, Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a news release issued Friday. The wanted suspect was believed to be in one of the apartments and, upon approaching the unit, investigators saw a man at the door matching the suspect's description, Anderson said.
