Three of four surviving suspects in the June killing of a Statesboro man pleaded not guilty Wednesday during arraignment hearings.

Antoinette Braddy Riley, 48, pleaded not guilty in the slaying of her husband, Michael Anthony Riley, 51. He was shot and killed June 30 in his Greenbriar Trail home, and Antionette Riley was arrested on murder charges July 1.

Michael Riley was listed as pastor of New Birth Nondenominational Church on Woodrow Avenue in Statesboro.

Antoinette Riley's daughter, Katrina Denise Ledford, 29, of Davisboro, and Terrance Ray Griswould, 28, of Augusta, also entered not-guilty pleas, Ogeechee Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney Daphne Jarriel said.

One suspect, Travis Lorenzo Berrian, 29, of Augusta, was killed in late July when he resisted arrest by probation officers.

A fourth living suspect, Tarell Momom, 34, an inmate in Jackson State Prison who was incarcerated when Riley was killed, is also charged with murder. It was unclear Thursday when Momon will face arraignment. Momom has been in prison since 1996 on charges of kidnapping and other serious crimes, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections website.

Statesboro police will not comment on Momon's suspected involvement in the murder, saying the case remains under investigation and is awaiting court proceedings.

All four defendants are charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (party to the crime), she said.

Berrian fired shots July 22 inside the state probation office in Augusta when probation officers tried taking him into custody on murder charges stemming from Riley's death. He shot and wounded a probation officer, and was killed by return fire.
