A man remains in critical condition after being attacked Sunday morning at a local bar. The 19-year-old male victim, whom police did not identify, was injured during a fight "in the Rusty's Tavern area" at University Plaza, said Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner. Statesboro police met with the victim around 2 a.m. Sunday at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center emergency room after his "roommates brought him to the hospital from his apartment, where they found him with a head injury and unresponsive," said Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner.
