Mr. and Mrs. William Davidson Carlisle

    Carolyn Theola Zeagler and William Davidson Carlisle of Mount Pleasant, S.C., were married at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on March 6, 2010, at St. Luke's Chapel in Charleston, S.C. The Rev. Dr. Terry Wilson performed the ceremony. A reception followed at The Historic Rice Mill building in Charleston.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mingledorf Zeagler III of Sylvania, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carolyn Stephens Zeagler and the late Mr. Frank Zeagler Jr. of Rocky Ford, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Treado of Sylvania. She earned a BS in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 2005 and is currently employed by the Medical University of South Carolina as an RN.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mettauer Lee Carlisle of Columbia, S.C. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ruth Davidson Carlisle and the late Mr. William Aiken Carlisle of Columbia, S.C., and the late Mr. Holland Decatur Pearson of Denmark, S.C., and the late Mrs. Margaret Pearson Corbett of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He earned a BS in Wildlife Biology in 2000 and an MS in Forrest Resources in 2003 from Clemson University. He currently works for the S.C. Department of Natural Resources as a wildlife biologist.
    Carolyn was given in marriage by her parents. She chose her friend, Courtney Leigh Waters, as the maid of honor. Bride's attendants were Mrs. Anna Emelia McCready, Jessica Elizabeth Mixson, Mrs. Katherine Treado Simms, cousin of the bride; and Lynn Marie Tumidajski.
    Will chose his father, Mr. Mettauer Lee Carlisle, as his best man. Groomsmen were Mr. William Cain III, Mr. Wade Mettauer Carlisle, brother of the groom; Mr. Mark Thomas Cox, Mr. Robert Mason Nettles III and Mr. Charles Clinton Zeagler, brother of the bride.
    After a honeymoon to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
