Mrs. Nancy Baird of Twin City, Georgia, announces the engagement of her daughter, Cindy Woods of Twin City, to Lindsey Mulkey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mulkey.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Clifford and Rita Gay. Cindy graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2006, with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She currently teaches fifth grade at Alabama Christian Academy in Montgomery, Ala.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of James and the late Mamie Lindsey and the late Fred and Sarah Mulkey. Lindsey graduated from Faulkner University in 2001, with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently employed by the Alabama Department of Transportation as a right of way specialist.
    The couple has planned to wed on October 6, 2012, at 5:00 at Clifford Gay Farm.
