Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Malcolm Ehlers

Lauren Elizabeth Williams of Dunwoody, Ga., and Kurt Malcolm Ehlers of Atlanta, Ga., were united in marriage on October 26, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the Grand Lake Club at Southbridge in Savannah, Ga.
The bride is the daughter of Dick and Mary Williams of Savannah. She is the granddaughter of the late Albert and June Sanders of Warner Robins, Ga., and the late Richard and Mary Seckinger Williams of Brooklet, Ga.
The groom is the son of Norm and Andi Ehlers of Smyrna, Ga. He is the grandson of Emmy Ehlers and the late Kurt O. Ehlers of Eugene, Ore., and the late Malcolm Ellis and the late Maude H. Cooper.
The Rev. Dr. Ben Martin officiated at the ceremony. All About You Entertainment provided traditional and classical music for the guests’ listening pleasure throughout the nuptials.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, Lauren wore a one-shoulder ivory crinkle chiffon gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and a fitted bodice. Her bridal bouquet featured brilliant pink roses accented by delicate pink roses, white oriental lilies and assorted greenery.
Paige Brack Dobbs of Martinez, Ga., served as matron of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Bree Black Nagode of Johns Creek, Ga.; Meredith Walker Vasey of Johns Creek; Rachelle Taylor Meadows of Duluth, Ga.; Loni Dunham Jones of Buford, Ga.; and Merideth Wages of Braselton, Ga., all friends of the bride.
The bridal attendants wore long, strapless, vibrant pink chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of deep pink roses with light pink, white and green accents.
Matthew Butlin of Lusby, Md., served as best man. Serving as groomsmen were Marc Thomes of Atlanta; Will Wenck of Savannah; Dan Yurkovich of Stafford, Va.; William Taylor of Atlanta, all friends of the groom; and Chris Williams of Winder, Ga., brother of the bride. Ushers were Blaine Terry of Atlanta; Ian Trainor of New York, N.Y.; and Josh Parsons of New Haven, Conn.
Evan Ehlers of Atlanta, son of the groom, served as ring bearer, carrying the rings in a beautiful, antique box. Mackenzie and Mary Katherine Nagode of Atlanta served as flower girls. They scattered delicate pink rose petals, creating a path through which the bride walked on her way to the altar.
A cocktail reception in the rustic lobby of the Grand Lake Club at Southbridge followed the wedding ceremony and preceded the buffet dinner and dancing held in the ballroom. Popular music provided by All About You Entertainment filled the air throughout the evening. A unique three-tier vanilla and white chocolate wedding cake featured groupings of fuchsia and delicate pink roses highlighted by a monogrammed topper of brilliant Swarovski crystals. The dark chocolate, tennis-themed groom’s cake showcased the couple’s love of the sport and each other with the logo “Game, Set, Match!”
The couple spent several days following the wedding touring historic Savannah. They honeymooned at Morgan Bay Resort in St. Lucia and currently make their home in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.
