Ms. Jo Slade Wilbanks of Macon is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Jessica Louise, to Nicholas Lewis Bennett, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Bennett of Conyers.
    Jessica is the daughter of the late Thomas Warren Wilbanks of Statesboro. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph William Slade of Sandersville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Guy Wilbanks of Bellville. A 2004 graduate of Mt. de Sales Academy, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Georgia College and State University, where she was a founding member of Zeta Tau Alpha. She presented in 2006 as a Bons Hommes debutante. She is employed as product manager for Stradis Healthcare.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Lee Lewis of Rome and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wesley Bennett of Atlanta. A 2003 graduate of Salem High School, he received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Georgia College and State University. He is employed by the Newton County School System.
    The wedding is planned for October 20th at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee.
    After the wedding, the couple will make their home in Loganville.
