Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Forehand

       Betsy Strickland of Havana, Fla., became the bride of Jacob Forehand of Brooklet, Ga., on Saturday, May 29th, 2010, at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Ga. The Rev. Rick Turner officiated at the morning garden ceremony.
       The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Strickland Jr. of Havana, Fla., and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Strickland Sr. of Havana, Fla.
       The groom is the son of Gerald J. Forehand of Stilson, Ga., and LuAnne Cromley Forehand of Brooklet, Ga., and is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Forehand of Stilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Cromley of Brooklet.
       The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
       Following the ceremony, a luncheon reception was held at Jonah's Restaurant in Thomasville.
       The couple now resides in Thomasville.
