Miranda Elizabeth Stockman John Maxwell Manack

    Chip and Lorraine Stockman of Greenwood, South Carolina, and Max and Susan Manack of Statesboro announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Miranda Elizabeth Stockman of Greenwood and John Maxwell Manack of Statesboro.

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Pierce and Betty Stockman of Greenwood, and Paul and Iona Sanders of Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from Wofford College with a BS in Biology and a BA in Spanish in 2013 and from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, with a DVM in May 2017. Miranda plans to be a veterinarian at Powers Ferry Animal Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

    The groom-elect is the grandson of Jerry Manack and the late Kay Manack of Sylvania, Georgia, and Marshall and George Ann Thigpen of Statesboro. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in Finance in 2013 and will graduate with a BA in Accounting in August of 2017.

    A wedding is planned for May 28, 2017, at Cloverleaf Farm in Arnoldsville, Georgia.


    The couple will reside in Atlanta.
