Mr. and Mrs. James Aaron Wilson

       Paige Nicole Skinner and James Aaron Wilson were joined in marriage at 4 o'clock in the afternoon on April 17, 2010, at The Historic Statesboro Inn in Statesboro, Ga. The Rev. Perry Hearn presided.
       The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Skinner of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of Wilene Cook and the late James Cook and Peggy Skinner and the late Douglas Skinner, all of Statesboro.
       The groom is the son of Deborah Wilson of Pooler and Joseph Wilson of Brooklet. He is the grandson of Loretta Williams and the late James Williams of Leefield and Ginny Wilson and the late Joseph Wilson of Brooklet.
       Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a sweetheart strapless full-length mermaid gown made of Siena organza and embellished with ruffles, beading and embroidery. She carried a bouquet of white Gerbera daisies and hydrangeas.
       The bride chose her friend, Callaway Kristen Anderson, as maid of honor and her sister, Erin Brannigan Skinner, as junior maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Rebecca Hickman and Ashley Nicole Quill, friends of the bride; and Taylor Layne Deal, cousin of the bride.
       The groom chose his father, Joseph Glenn Wilson, as his best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Edward Wilson and Justin Glenn Wilson, brothers of the groom; Judd Dewayne Skinner, brother of the bride; and James Hutton Starling, friend of the groom.
       Sheila Grace Harris and Serena Madeleine Harris, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls. James Benjamin Skinner, brother of the bride, served as the ring bearer. Alyssa Renee Hurst and Bailey Nicole Shuman, cousins of the bride, served as the greeters.
       Music was provided by Hannah Dasher, vocalist; and Sheila Zynda, pianist.
       Following the ceremony, a wedding reception of heavy hors d'oeuvres and dancing was held at The Historic Statesboro Inn.
       After a honeymoon in the mountains of Tennessee, the couple now makes their home in Statesboro.

Skinner-Wilson Parties
       In February, the bride was honored at a shower given by the maid of honor, Callaway Kristen Anderson, along with her mother, Starr Anderson, and the bride's first grade teacher, Kay Rule.
       In March, the bride was honored at three showers: one given by the ladies of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class at Eastern Heights Baptist Church; another given by her cousins, Pam Harris Shuman, Lana Harris Spaulding, Peggy Harris, Lisa Skinner Williams, and by her aunts, Elaine Skinner Hester and Shirley Shaw; and a third shower given by her aunt, Janet Bowen Skinner, and friend, Mandy Durham.
       The groom was honored at a Handyman Shower given in April by Dewayne Skinner, Judd Skinner and Travis Skinner.
       The wedding party and out-of-town family enjoyed a buffet dinner hosted by the groom's parents the night before the wedding.
