Earnest and Linda Roberts of Pembroke, Georgia, will celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary with a banquet to be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012, from 5 p.m. until midnight at Snella's Place, Allen Circle, Statesboro. The couple married on October 17, 1972, at the home of Mr. Roberts' grandparents, Waymon and Julia Ann Roberts, in Nevils. They have four children — Kelvin Mercer, LaShan Roberts, Dwight Roberts and Angela Roberts — and 11 grandchildren. Mr. Roberts is employed as a construction worker with Coastal Grading, and Mrs. Roberts is a school bus driver with the Bryan County School System. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
