Tony and Diane Phillips of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Madison Phillips of Statesboro, to Garrett Darsey of Statesboro, son of Jerry and Georgi Darsey. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gene Phillips of Deep Gap, North Carolina, and the late Phyllis Pruitt of Anchorage, Alaska, and the late Kenneth and Betty Turner of Dawsonville, Georgia. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned her degree in public relations and marketing.
