Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Betty Nixon of Statesboro plan to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, August 25, with a reception to be held at Snella's, located off of Highway 301 North in Statesboro. Invitations have been sent. The couple was married on August 9, 1952, at the Bulloch County Courthouse. They have eight children, Charles Nixon, Frank Edward Nixon Jr., Stanley Nixon, Ann Ross, Stewart Nixon, John, David and Dale Nixon; 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
