Fredric S. Gregg and Samantha Sanford Gregg and the late Glenn Edward Nichols, all of Chatsworth, Georgia, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Caroline Montgomery Nichols, to Claude Arthur “Beau” Howard IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Arthur Howard III of Statesboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Brenda Sanford and the late Jerry Sanford and Yvonne Nichols and the late Edward Nichols, all of Chatsworth. Caroline is a 2011 graduate of Murray County High School. She received a BBA in finance from Georgia Southern University in 2015. Caroline is a member of the Kappa Mu chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity. She is currently employed by QGenda LLC in Atlanta, Georgia.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Lloyd M. Jones of Statesboro and the late Betty Ruff Jones and Mr. and Mrs. C. Arthur Howard Jr. of Statesboro. Beau is a 2011 graduate of Bulloch Academy. He received a BS in construction management from Georgia Southern University in 2016. He is a member of the Eta Zeta chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is currently employed by Espy Lumber in Bluffton, South Carolina.

The ceremony and reception will be held on May 19, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, Georgia.
