Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gunnels of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Nebel of Valdosta, Ga., to Steven Mathew Comparato II of Auburndale, Fla., son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Comparato of Auburndale.
    The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Rodney T. Nebel of Valdosta and is the granddaughter of Richard William McFall and the late Jo Evelyn McFall of Springfield, Mo., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harmon E. Nebel of Jefferson City, Mo. She graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, Minor of Science in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is a registered nurse at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Joe Dixon and the late Gina Dixon of Auburndale, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Comparato of Auburndale. He graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is the store manager of Walgreens in Tifton, Ga.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 6, 2013, at 5:30 in the afternoon in Hilton Head, S.C.
