Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McCormick of Brooklet, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Lean McCormick of Oxford, Ala., to Christopher Mark Gaskin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Grizzard of Oxford, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Sandra Gaskin of Ashville, Ala.
       The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Inman G. Hood and the late Shirley Hood of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles McKie of Charleston, S.C., and the late Harry McCormick. Lean is a 2002 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and 2006 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, with a degree in Pharmacy Technology. She is currently employed as a CPhT with CVS Pharmacy in Anniston, Ala.
       The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Marie Gaskin of Anniston, Ala., and the late Lemley Gaskin and Mr. and Mrs. James Davis. Chris is a 2004 graduate of Ashville High School and is currently attending Gadsden State Community College for his electrical degree. He is currently employed as a journeyman electrician with Johnny's Electric in Pell City, Ala.
       The wedding has been planned for October 16, 2010, at 4 p.m. at Meldrim Woods Plantation in Brooklet, Ga.
