Sarah Jean Martin and Sean Thomas Butterbaugh were united in marriage during an evening ceremony on July 22 at the University of Kentucky Hilary Boone Center, Lexington, Kentucky. The wedding ceremony was performed by Dr. Kris Kiesling of Asbury Theological Seminary and Dr. Jonathon Powers provided music. Sarah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Martin of Statesboro and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mr. William Martin and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thomas.
