Mr. and Mrs. Don Lanier of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaylee Miranda Lanier, to Joshua Wayne Coleman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Coleman of Canton, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of H.B. and Doris Lanier and the late Billy and Mina Ruth Futch, all of Statesboro. Kaylee is a 2009 graduate of Bulloch Academy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Georgia. Kaylee will be employed with the Bulloch County school system this fall.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Wayne and Iris Dean Coleman of Roswell, Ga., and the late Fred Baker and Irma Dorn of New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Joshua is a 1999 graduate of Sequoyah High School in Canton. He earned his Bachelor of Science in psychology at the University of Georgia and his Master of Arts in Teaching from Valdosta State University. Joshua also will be employed with the Bulloch County school system this fall.

The couple will wed on June 25, 2016, in Madison, Ga.
